The elegant Eoloapartment is located in a residential area within the village of Scala
and is on the ground floor of a two-storey Villa.
The friendly english speaking owner of this fine villa will provide help/assistance
if/when required.
The closest beach is in a little village called "Castiglione di Ravello", placed in
a small valley dug by the sea, where the emerald waters meet the high rocks of the coast.
It is reached by the inevitable steps (more or less 500 Meters) from the main Ravello/Amalfi coast road.
Alternatively for those who wish to avoid the steps there is the famous Amalfi beach (7 Km)
or Minori & Maiori (more or less 10 Km ).
Eolo is decorated with the splendid "maiolica" tiles, a unique characteristic around the
Amalfi area.
The independant entrance takes you directly onto the quaint garden/terrace scattered with
flowers and furnished with table,chairs,barbeque and deck chairs. Unforgettable views
overlooking the majestic serrated cliffs and striking turquoise coloured waters below leaves the
many who visit with long lasting memories.
Double French doors from terrace invite you into the bright spacious lounge/dining room with
double divan-sofa bed, table,chairs,satellite TV and wall units... Beautiful archway from lounge/dining room leads
to lovely bright fully equipped kitchen complete with cooker,fridge with freezer compartment, kettle,
utensils and washing machine.
Lovely double bedroom includes: double bed , wardrobe,dressing table, bedside units and en-suite
shower room with shower,w.c. lavabo, bidet; hairdryer included. Gorgeous sea view from the window.
An additional shower room includes: shower,w.c.,lavabo,bidet and hair dryer.
The apartment is also centrally heated.
Roadside aprking is possible for guest driving a car, however public transport is excellent with bus
stops being only a few hundred meters from the apartment as are shops and restaurants.
The quaint neighbouring village of Ravello is a mere 2 km away and is filled to the brim with
shops, cafe' bars, banks, restaurants and lots more. a 6 Km scenic drive downwards leads to the sea-side
village of Atrani with its inviting sun-kissed beach,shops,bars and restaurants. Rubbing shoulders
with Atrani is the lively town of Amalfi lined with funky boutiques, gift shops, art and craft,
jevellery, locla markets and more.
Warm beaches hug the shores and blue/green waters glisten in the sun. Boats leave from the busy harbour
stopping off at the many little villages along the Coast like Sorrento and Positano, also visiting the
charming Isle of Capri and Ischia.
Many more exciting places to visit are Pompei, Paestum, Vesuvius, Herculaneum.
